Nucleus Roots meets Trevor Roots & Vale - Roots and Culture

Fresh collaboration between Nucleus Roots and Tribe 84 Records is a favourite soundman format the 10” single with 3 different cuts. Tune that was recorded in half an hour in Paul Lush studio in Manchester when Trevor Roots was visiting Paul and Luca Dread and listened to various riddims. Then it reached Berlin and got some jazzy trumpet treatment from Vale. Fast forward good couple of years (you know due to what) and its out here with universal Prince Far I, Nazamba vibes.

Trevor Roots aka Bevi is a Manchester born Jamaican Artiste who's career dates back to the 80's. Trevor was a part of a vocal group Hippie & Bevi as well as worked as an MC on Manchesters very own Sound System - Mega Tone. Nucleus Roots relationship started with Trevor Roots around a decade ago when Paul Lush started playing session guitar for his Bob Marley tribute act (Trevor Roots & the Buffalo Soldiers). Since then Trevor has collaborated on several Nucleus Roots tunes (World in Danger, Under Pressure). This is their latest release in old school dub poetry style on heavy pumping riddim. Backed with great jazzy trumpet version and a vocal-trumpet Dubwise.
